What a fantastic way to kick off our very first House Colour Day at Pilton Community College on Friday 9 October!
The Houses and colours are as follows: -
ATLANTIS - Red
DISCOVERY - Green
ENDEAVOUR - Blue
VOYAGER - Yellow
Our students embraced their house colours, with many students wearing an item of clothing in their house colours, plus brought plenty of enthusiasm, energy and competitive spirit to our lunchtime House Competition — Bumpin’ Pumpkin Beanbag Pong!
The challenge was simple: throw your beanbags at the pumpkin target and score points for your house! But the real aim was all about participation, teamwork and, most importantly, FUN!
It was brilliant to see so many students getting involved, supporting their housemates and showing their house spirit. Every throw counted, and every participant helped contribute to their house total!
Our first House Colour Day was also an opportunity for students to demonstrate two of our core values — trust and respect — by making responsible choices and representing their houses with pride.
A huge well done to everyone who took part. We can't wait to see what our next House Competition brings!
Take a look at some of the highlights!
