Our German Exchange trip was a tremendous success this summer term. Pupils fully embraced life in Germany whilst also visiting Switzerland and Austria, enjoying a wide variety of memorable cultural and educational experiences.
Among the highlights was a visit to the Zeppelin Museum, followed by the privilege of a guided tour of Airbus. There, pupils gained a fascinating behind-the-scenes insight into the design and production of drones and satellites, while also discovering the exciting opportunities and career pathways available in engineering.
The trip also offered plenty of opportunities for adventure and personal growth. Pupils climbed Pfänder Mountain, which is of a similar height to Snowdon, before taking in the breathtaking scenery on a spectacular cable car descent. They also challenged themselves at the Kletterpark climbing centre, where teamwork, determination and resilience were put to the test. These experiences helped pupils build confidence, overcome personal fears and develop valuable life skills, making the exchange both rewarding and unforgettable.
