Students on the Year 8 Rhineland Trip 2026 enjoyed a memorable and enriching visit to one of Germany’s most scenic regions.
During the trip, students explored the impressive Marksburg Castle, gaining an insight into medieval life and the history of the Rhineland. They also enjoyed a spectacular cable car ride over the vineyards of Rüdesheim, taking in breathtaking views of the Rhine Valley.
Other highlights included a visit to Deutsches Eck (German Corner) in Koblenz, where the Rivers Mosel and Rhine meet, and a relaxing river cruise along the Rhine, allowing students to appreciate the region’s stunning landscapes and famous landmarks.
A visit to the Music Museum provided an opportunity to learn about the history and development of musical instruments through the ages. In the evenings, students enjoyed a range of activities, including bowling and swimming, helping to create lasting memories and strengthen friendships.
The trip was a wonderful cultural and educational experience, and we are proud of the excellent conduct and enthusiasm shown by all students throughout their visit.
