Following on from our Year 7, 8 and 9 students, it was Year 10's turn on Friday to head to the beautiful Croyde Bay for an unforgettable surfing lesson!
Throughout the day, students also learned the fundamentals of surfing, developed their confidence in the water, and challenged themselves to catch some fantastic waves. It was brilliant to see everyone stepping outside their comfort zones, showing resilience, supporting one another, and embracing the opportunity to learn a new skill.
Experiences like these help build confidence, teamwork and determination, and our Year 10 students were a credit to the school throughout the day.
A huge thank you once again to Fullabrook Community Interest Company, whose generous funding has made these incredible opportunities possible. We are incredibly grateful for their continued support in giving our students the chance to experience new activities, build lifelong skills, and create memories they'll never forget.
Well done to all of our Year 10 surfers—you were amazing, and we hope you enjoyed every minute!
