A huge congratulations to Year 9 students Holly, Esme, Lyra, Ruby and Lucy, who represented Pilton brilliantly at the Carnegie Shadowing Day held at Kingsley School last week.
The girls delivered an outstanding performance inspired by the book Twenty-Four Seconds From Now, earning a fantastic and thoroughly deserved second-place finish.
The event also featured a visit from critically acclaimed YA author and award-winning poet Luke Palmer, who shared valuable insights into the writing process, the power of books, and the importance of reading for pleasure.
It was a truly inspiring day, and we are incredibly proud of the girls for their creativity, enthusiasm and achievement. Well done to all involved!
