Our Gateway class are learning about Devon in WW2, as part of their topic learning relating to The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips by Michael Morpurgo. They are exploring how the Burrows and the North Devon coastline were used for D-Day preparations and how radar was used at Northam.
The group had a windy but fun-packed day exploring the local area and ended the afternoon with some outdoor team games on the beach.
