We were thrilled to welcome our local MP, Ian Roome, to Pilton Community College last week for an inspiring visit.
During his time with us, Ian spoke with staff and students about our recent success in achieving the International School Award (2025–2028) and praised the hard work required to achieve this.
Yr11 students also had the opportunity to share their views on school life, discuss their perspectives on social media, and talk about their ambitions for the future. The visit concluded with a tour of the college and its grounds, offering our MP a first-hand look at our learning community.
