More sporting success for our Pilton girls after a fantastic afternoon at the U13 North Devon Football Tournament yesterday.
The girls topped their group after strong performances against GTS and Bideford, working hard for each other, defending well and playing some great football to win their pool and reach the final.
In the final, Pilton faced Braunton. It was a very close and competitive match, with both teams battling all the way. Despite a brilliant effort from everyone, Pilton narrowly lost 1–0.
All of the girls played amazingly and should be very proud of finishing runners-up in a tough tournament. A great team performance from start to finish!
