On Thursday we welcomed 40 pupils and 4 teachers from the Czech Republic, plus the owners of the local Language School they are attending, to spend the morning at our school.
Our Year 11 Cultural Ambassadors and some Year 10 pupils chatted to them about their school life, comparing differences and similarities in their daily routines and the education systems. Our visitors then observed lessons and commented that they much preferred our style of teaching! Our pupils were very inspired by how well the Czech students spoke English.
Their Deputy Headteacher said that visiting our school is always the highlight of their visit to the UK and he can't wait to see us again next year.
