The melodious sounds of the jazz, funk and soul drifted across the school yesterday when the Music Department welcomed Emma Rawicz to lead a fantastic jazz workshop. Originally from North Devon, Emma is a multi-award winning London-based saxophonist was joined by members of the Devon Youth Jazz Orchestra and Pilton musicians from across all year groups to create some fabulous improvised sounds throughout the morning. It was an amazing experience and a wonderful start to the day.
