CSI Pilton

Year 9 students showed off their detective skills this week when all the teams correctly identified the suspect in a mock-up crime presented during a CSI Workshop, arranged by Next Steps Southwest. The day-long workshop taught the students forensic skills such as fingerprint analysis, trace evidence and contextual information and then encouraged them to use their communication and critical evaluation skills to work in a team to deduce who committed the crime. The organising team from Pulse were particularly impressed by the teams' 100% crime-solving success rate.
