Binoculars but no otters


Following her successful application via Learning through Landscapes, Dr Bowden has taken delivery of £500 of equipment which will enable students to conduct more fieldwork both on and off site. The equipment includes quadrats, trundle wheels, clinometers, binoculars, tally counters, compasses and 50m tapes, as well as several packs of wildlife identification cards. Students were particularly delighted by the binoculars but sad there were no otters in the pack...
