A Variety of Veggies

Learning Support students have been working hard all term in our new vegetable garden and have successfully grown a variety of fruit and vegetables including lettuce, radishes, carrots and strawberries - all of which have been eaten. They also have a variety of beans, beetroot and courgettes and are working on a herb wall. There are plans for Brussels sprouts, corn and broccoli in the autumn, plus a pumpkin competition for which each student involved will grow their own pumpkin, which they hope to be able to carve at Hallowe'en.
